Rick Witt – Head Golf Professional
Rick Witt is a talented Class A PGA professional with nearly 15 years of experience as a Head Golf Professional. He distinguished himself as Wisconsin’s top golfer after winning the 2006 Wisconsin PGA Match Play Championship. In 2001, Rick was voted “Golf Professional of the Year” in the Eastern Region of American Golf Country Clubs. He also has served on the Titlist National Advisory Staff since 2000. Rick joined Blackhawk in 2004 and resides in Madison, with his wife, Danielle. |
Monroe Miller – Golf Course Superintendent
Monroe Miller is a 1968 graduate of the turfgrass management program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. After a two-year stint in the Army, he returned to the University to attend graduate school and, in 1973, began his career at Blackhawk Country Club as Golf Course Superintendent. Monroe is a United States Golf Association Green Award winner and, in 2005, was honored as the first grounds superintendent ever to be inducted into the Wisconsin Golf Hall of Fame. Monroe and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Middleton and are parents of three married daughters. |
Chad Grimm – Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Chad Grimm was introduced to Blackhawk Country Club as a student intern in 1996. Upon graduation, he was hired as a golf course staff member and promoted to the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent position in 1999. He and his wife, Sarah, and their two children, Sydney and Mary, live in Waunakee. |
